Galatians 6:9 encourages us to persevere in doing good, emphasizing the promise of a harvest in due season. This scripture speaks to the weariness that can accompany a life dedicated to goodness and service. As we reflect on these words, let us consider the times when fatigue tempts us to give up on acts of kindness and righteousness. The call to not grow weary is an invitation to press on, trusting that God sees our efforts, and a harvest awaits those who persist.

Moreover, Galatians 6:9 prompts us to reflect on the nature of our motivations. Are we doing good solely for immediate rewards, or do we hold onto the deeper conviction that God’s promises are true? Lent is a season of introspection and endurance, and this verse encourages us to remain steadfast, knowing that the reward for our perseverance is rooted in God’s faithful promises.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, as we navigate the challenges of doing good, grant us the strength to persevere. In moments of weariness, may we find renewed energy in the assurance that you see our efforts. Help us not to lose heart but to press on, trusting that the harvest of righteousness is assured in your perfect timing. Amen.
