1 Corinthians 15:58 issues a call to steadfastness, immovability, and abounding in the work of the Lord. As we reflect on this scripture, we are prompted to examine the constancy of our commitment to God’s work. The Lenten season invites us to assess the ways we engage in His service, ensuring that our labor is anchored in the assurance that it is not in vain.

Moreover, 1 Corinthians 15:58 encourages us to derive our strength and motivation from the Lord. The recognition that our labor is not in vain is rooted in the promise of God’s faithfulness. The Fourth Week of Lent urges us to persevere, knowing that every effort invested in the work of the Lord has eternal significance. May this scripture inspire a renewed commitment to steadfast service, motivated by the unwavering promise that our labor in the Lord is never futile.

Prayer:

Faithful God, as we engage in your work, may we be steadfast and immovable, knowing that our labor is not in vain. Strengthen us with your presence and empower us to abound in the tasks you set before us. In this Lenten season, may our commitment to your work be fueled by the assurance that, in you, our efforts have eternal significance. Amen.
