Devotional March 16

Scripture Reading: Hebrews 4:16
“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

Reflection:
Hebrews 4:16 extends an invitation to approach the throne of grace with confidence, highlighting the availability of mercy and grace in times of need. As we reflect on this scripture, the Lenten season prompts us to consider our posture before the throne of God. Are we approaching with confidence, recognizing our need for His mercy and grace?

Moreover, Hebrews 4:16 encourages us to acknowledge God as our source of help. In moments of need, this verse reminds us that our help comes from the gracious and merciful throne of God. The Fourth Week of Lent invites us to draw near with confidence, laying our needs before the One who is abundantly able to provide. May this scripture guide our prayers and cultivate a sense of assurance in God’s unwavering grace.

Prayer:
Gracious God, as we draw near to your throne of grace, grant us the confidence to seek your mercy and find the grace we need. In this Lenten season, may our prayers be marked by a deep dependence on your unfailing help. Thank you for the assurance that, in times of need, we can approach your throne with confidence, knowing that you are ready to extend your mercy and grace. Amen.
